The primary aim of A User's Guide to the Human Genome

To provide the reader with an elementary hands-on guide for browsing and analyzing data produced by the International Human Genome Sequencing Consortium and other systematic sequencing efforts. Link

How does one find a gene of interest and determine that gene's structure? Once the gene has been located on the map, how does one easily examine other genes in that same region? Answer1
